Wedding! The biggest day in any man’s or woman’s life, but for a 7 letter word it requires a lot of effort, planning and numerous sleepless nights. Right from the venue to the menu; being the groom you have to juggle around a lot to make things perfect.
Self-grooming is usually the last thing in any man’s to do list. While on the other hand the brides book their salon appointments months before the D-day, so to all the grooms-to-be; do yourself a favor and start thinking about your grooming essentials for your wedding day.
Here is a list of things that you must take care of, to look dashing, charming and glowing on your special day.
Let’s take it from the top!
Haircut:
While you must trust your regular barber for your precious hair, but your wedding is not any regular day. Choose a high end salon to get a nice clean haircut, pay them a visit at least a week before your wedding. It takes at least 3-4 days for any haircut to set and while it’s good to try and play around with your style once in a while, your wedding is not the occasion to explore a drastically different haircut, leave that for after the honeymoon.

Haircare:
Well, who doesn’t want silky and smooth hair?
Book yourself a spa, a day or two before your wedding. Shampoo and condition your hair every second day. Try not to use hot water for the hair, use lukewarm water instead. Keep your hair gel aside for a few weeks and invest in a hair mousse, the gel makes your hair look oily and dull.
Facial hair is to be taken care as well, don’t forget to trim your nose and ear hair to be perfect on your wedding.
WASHING AND EXFOLIATING YOUR FACE TWICE A DAY WITH A MILD FACEWASH IS A MUST.
Regular Face Cleansing:
Many of you might not want to use a lot of products on your face because you feel like it’s a woman’s thing or you’re just too lazy to do it, but you might want to start doing it now. Washing and exfoliating your face twice a day with a mild facewash is a must. That doesn’t mean that you can use any facewash or exfoliator you find. There are many specific products for Men, use them.
Using a face cleanser will help you get rid of the excess oil and dirt from the face, tightens the pores. Make your skin look refreshed, clean and hydrated.

Shave, Shave, Shave! :
Much like the haircut, don’t leave shaving for the last day. You definitely want to make some final trims on the main day, but try to do most of the work a few days prior.
Get a nice trimmer and a good shaving kit for your facial hair you’ll thank yourself later for it. You can also book an appointment for your shaving and get it done by a professional. He’ll ensure that you’re getting a clean and closest shave possible.
Massage:
After all that work, stress and so many sore muscles, massage is the best option to release some stress and let the blood flowing. It’ll help you look fresh, relaxed and sharp.
Gift yourself a massage session or surprise your bride-to-be with a couples massage session. After all you both need some time alone before the wedding.

Manicure & Pedicure:
So while you’re at it; getting yourself a nice massage, get a manicure pedicure too. And no it’s not just for woman; you’re human too. Nobody likes to have unsightly feet and chipped nails.
You don’t want your wedding pictures to look bad because of these little things. So worry not there’s nothing that a good mani pedi can’t treat. They will clean the skin surrounding your nails, make your nails shine, and help you get rid of those painful cuticles.
Oral Care:
When you’re happy, what do you do?
You smile; so don’t forget to go for a teeth whitening session at your nearest dental clinic at least 2-3 months in advance. Your wedding day is the day when everybody is excited to get pictures with you, so get that extra pearly bright smile ready to shine. Use mouthwash twice a day and you’re good to go.
