2020 was marred by the pandemic caused by the coronavirus and while we are still reeling with the effects of COVID-19, Bestseller’s Seal of Safety campaign is bringing people back to the stores.
The last one year has put many things in a different perspective for all of us. Be it work-hours (Zoom), socializing (may be Zoom), family time (hopefully not Zoom!), we have rehashed and rewritten rules for a readjusted reality. But how about shopping? Yes, yes, online megastores make the task of choosing your new ensemble as easy as a click, and then next-day delivery. But let us put it out there that browsing lazily through endless pages of online shopping stores is not even a patch on physically window-shopping in a mall. The difference, we say, is the sense of feel. As shoppers, we like to engage and stimulate our senses for a memorable shopping experience. The Covid pandemic pretty much hit that out of the park, admittedly, but malls have opened, shopping has renewed, and pandemic safety has seemingly become an urban legend.
But if you are one of the better informed and aware Samaritans, then you needn’t be told that your safety must be paramount while shopping. You want to feel the new collection, you want to try on that shirt, you must want to figure the waist of those jeans. We hear you. And so does Vero Moda. And what they have done should get a standing ovation!

The fashion brand has equipped all its stores across India with the state-of-the-art technology to ensure a shopping experience that’s safe and secure in every way possible. Apart from maintaining the social distancing protocols to sanitisation and regular temperature checks, the stores have been installed with Coronaguards and Corona Cannons. Sounds like titbits from a sci-fi flick? We don’t blame you. Allow us to explain. This technology kills 99.9 per cent of the virus particles that may be present in the air. Even as the air is taken care of, the stores have gone a step further to place all the garments in a UV-C wardrobe after every trial, which sterilises the clothes and disables the ability of any virus to multiply. Is that awesome or is that awesome! Apart from these measures, the staff steam-iron garments daily to kill any virus or bacteria that may have been left.

What are Coronaguards and Corona Cannons?
We thought you’d never ask! Developed by Eureka Forbes, Coronaguard physically kills the homing mechanism of the virus and prevents infectivity. It is based on the principles of Physics of ‘Photon Mediated Electron Emission’ (PMEE) that disables the S protein in the virus so that it unable to attach itself with the human cells. Same is the case with Corona Cannon that has been developed by Shyconcan. This cylindrical device neutralises the SARS COV-2 in closed space. These devices were approved by the FDA and CE (EU Class 1) last year. We admit that this is way too much information, but when it concerns the health and safety of your loved ones, knowledge is power.

Vero Moda tested these devices in different environments and they were found to be safe for both humans and animals. The devices are chemical free, odour free, stain free and have no side effects at all.
Still wondering if it’s safe to try garments at the store?
Vero Moda has taken these measures to ensure a hassle-free shopping experience. We know that it will be a while before we enjoy malls the way we used to, every little step, such as this one, makes a big difference to us shoppers. Agree? Now go shop!
